Two weeks ago, the world lost another beautiful soul, Denise Bohn, an eight-year breast cancer survivor and passionate advocate of the Susan G. Komen mission. While our hearts are broken, we will never forget the joy, ferocity, and dedication that Denise carried with her each and every day.
We have put together a special tribute page to remember Denise and provide a place where friends and family can support the causes she was passionate about, leave memories and photos, and learn more about how we are honoring Denise at our Race for the Cure.
Denise recently noted that, ‘The reason I am so vocal and outspoken against this disease is because of how it attacks…it does not discriminate. Age, Race, Gender, Smart, Healthy, Funny, Bright, Middle Class, Wealthy, Making Ends Meet….cancer does not care. So we must!’ We honor and remember Denise by supporting the causes she believed in.
